Early Works Package (EWP) #1 Construction

Clearing, grubbing (vegetation removal), and rough earthwork will begin on April 1, 2025, to prepare the site for construction trailers, vehicles, and equipment, and to start excavation for the water treatment facility buildings. As shown on the map above, the SJLWTP is located south of N36 about 6.3 miles east of the intersection of N36 and US 491. If you are traveling near the site, please be aware of trucks, water trucks, and other vehicles on Highway N36 in the vicinity of the site. Before starting work, cultural and environmental clearances will be completed and permits will be approved. The Jacobs Design-Build team has prepared a detailed construction Health and Safety Plan and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan.
